Running errands with deadlines is always stressful, but I am glad I have become more prone to seeing the positive things that happen along the way. Literally, I enjoyed riding my bike along the Main river on my way to downtown Frankfurt, while metaphorically the one and only helpful salesperson made up for the whole rather unpleasant experience of attempting to exchange merchandise at an electronic store. One could view the situation as three nasty or unprofessional people against one BUT I consciously choose to focus on the one who was nice and went out of her way to help me out. In a world much more focused on the unpleasant in life, be it crime, despair, or drama, I learned to look for and find the good. Good for me! 😉 Habituation works!
